Hello Friends,
Autumn Greetings Everyone! Here’s a note to let you know what’s coming up at the library.
StoryTime begins Tuesday, October 11 at 10am. Ms Cindy is passing the ToddlerTime torch, on to the capable hands of Cecilia O’Brien. Many thanks to Cindy Wiar for 14 years of service to families and children at the library. She has developed a wonderful program tradition and remains on staff as assistant librarian in charge of inter-library loan. Ms Cecilia’s StoryTime will continue twice a month, the second & fourth Tuesdays at 10am, October through May.
Book talk with Jennifer Morales, Thursday, Nov. 10th, 7pm. Jennifer’s book, Meet Me Halfway: Milwaukee Stories has been chosen as the Wisconsin book of the year and will be showcased at the National Book Festival. Read more about it here:

In December we’ll have a return visit from Santa, yes! and also from Robert "Ernie" Boszhardt to talk about his new book, Hidden Thunder: Rock Art of the Upper Midwest. And on a topic of related interest, Gary Eldred, artisan flint knapper (one who crafts stone arrow points) will give a presentation about this passion of his. A framed collection of Gary’s points is currently on display at the library. Details of these events to come.
Warm wishes for the season,
~Cele
