Greetings Friends,
Since the month of March has roared it’s way in, we should be heading for a mild and pleasant Spring, right?!? Ah, Wisconsin.
The Library has been lively. Our Christmas tree became a pussy willow bedecked with crocheted snowflakes then valentines now shamrocks and next — an Easter/ Springtime tree? The entry way display case, inherited from Bob Burns’ Pool Room in the old Village, holds a changing arrangement of memorabilia. Library Friends and Board members keep the seasons showing and that’s a shout out, a thank you to them:)
Here are some events
Tuesday, March 15, 7-9pm, Liz Bransky will be available the library for help with using Overdrive. Digital materials like ebooks, audiobooks, magazines and movies can be checked out and downloaded to your own device from the Wisconsin Digital Library (OverDrive) using an account set up with your library card. Just bring your Kindle, Nook, iPad or other device along to the library and we will help you get started, or troubleshoot an existing account.
StoryTime continues Tuesday mornings at 10am. This week the children will be watercolor painting with Ms Cindy along with a seasonal story, playtime and snack.
